On or Off?

How can one be so happy one minute and sad the next? What is the point of feeling emotions when they change so quickly? How can life begin to feel bearable and then just feel so unbearable? What is the point of all this? Please someone give me an answer, because I just don't know.

If I say I don't wanna feel anymore what does that make me? A coward? If I could just flip a switch and stop feeling sad, angry, tired, or scared I would. But life doesn't work that way. It's not a switch you can turn on and off. Once it's off, it's off for good.

Everyone says "it gets better" and I believe them. But the problem is it doesn't "stay better". Life is a roller coaster it takes so long to get to the top and once you make it, it's a fast dive to the bottom. You can scream, you can cry but you can't stop. I think that for me is the saddest part.

You can take control of your life but if other people lose control of theirs then what's the point. Being in control in a place eclipsed by chaos just makes no sense. Just like loving someone who will never love you back.

I know I haven't blogged in a while and this is probably a terrible post to return with and I apologize for that. But I felt like I just had to write this.

A Women in Black

A women in black, she lived in a farm.
Alone and so old, she was missing an arm.
Beauty she lacked, the kind you can see.
But she had a heart, so lovely and free.
Children would fear her, this women in black.
Clouded by darkness, and the knowledge they lacked.
Day after day, she spent all alone.
Dreaming of friends, she could call her own.
Every morning she'd wake, and sing out a tune.
Ears that could hear her, wouldn't judge her so soon.
For she had a voice, unlike any other.
Forever longing, to be heard by another.
Got to know her, a few years back.
Greatness she was, this women in black.

The Cove

I came across this amazing documentary today. It's called "The Cove". Its about a man named Richard O’Barry who is famous for training the dolphins that played the role of Flipper in the TV series "Flipper" (1964-1967), and his quest in breaking the multimillion dollar industry he helped create! This movie exposes a dark secret that has been kept secret for way too long. Dolphin's are being caught and shipped all over the world to entertain people of all ages.. The ones that are not are slaughtered, packed and labeled as expensive whale meat. Most people are unaware that they are eating dolphins! I recommend this movie to everyone. If you are a Netflix subscriber like myself, you have until February 1, 2012 to watch it instantly. Or you can just get it on DVD.

Watch the trailer below:

Have you seen this documentary? What do you think about the slaughter of dolphin's?

Underworld

Today I was planing on going to see the new Underworld movie. But like most of my plans, I had to cancel. I was going to go see it in Manhattan. It would have been my first time going to Manhattan this year. The last time I went I saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, that was back in July. So I will be unable to go today I will have to wait until next Saturday.
