For a while now I have suffered from this terrible pain in my left hand. It's hard to describe the pain, but it kinda feels like my bones themselves are hurting. I don't remember ever banging or hurting my hand. The pain just comes and goes. But lately it's been getting worse and its been happening more frequent. Yesterday I went out and the pain was unbearable! I felt as if my bones were on fire! (Not that I know how that feels like, nor do I ever want to experience such discomfort) I have no idea what cold be wrong. I'm right handed so it's not like I over use my left hand.
When the pain got really bad a little over a year ago I went to the hospital thinking that I was having a heart attack. I waited hours, only to be told that nothing was wrong with me. Even my blood pressure was normal, and my blood pressure is never normal. When a doctor can't figure out what's wrong with you that's kinda scary.
I will try to get another doctor to check out my hand. I can't stand the pain anymore! .....David

Car Ride
What is it about a car ride that's just so relaxing. Yesterday I went on what was my longest car ride this year. I love nice long car rides, I don't own a car and I can't drive. Here in New York it gets dark around 5pm so it was really nice riding around at night. I got to see manhattan from a distance and it looks amazing! All of the lights are beautiful, and for a moment, just a moment, I realized why people dream about coming here. I never wanted to reach my destination, I just wanted to enjoy the ride. I wanted to stare at the lights for as long as possible. It really was something to see.
As you can probably tell I really don't get out much, people around here just want to get to where they're going fast. How many people have driven by that same road and actually looked across the water and marveled at how beautiful it was? I'm sure there are quite a few. But at the same time there are people who drive thru there everyday and no longer see how beautiful it is. All they see is a road in front of them and all they think about Is their destination.
I don't have a destination, I'm just along for the ride. I don't know the driver, I don't know what car I'm in, or where this road will take me. But I do know that I should enjoy something as simple as tall skyscrapers with lights shining out of their windows.

All About Me
Where to begin, well the truth is I don't wanna tell you my whole life story. Sad as it may be I really don't wanna get into it. I grew up in Brooklyn and I've only been to manhattan about 20 times. A few times on school trips to museums and recently to go see a movie. I like going to the AMC theater on 42nd street. The reason I say this is because many people wish to visit Manhattan. I live a train ride away and have only been there a few times. Every time I've been there the streets have been crowded. I get very uncomfortable around crowds. I like being alone, I know a lot of people hate being alone, I don't.
I'm in my early 20's and I don't really get out much. I have nowhere to go really. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing something, that urge to go out and "mingle" (do people still say that?) or "hang out" (or whatever people my age say these days). I guess I'm not a social person. But I read somewhere that people are social creatures and we need to socialize to keep us sane. In a way I guess this is why I started a blog. As I'm typing this I feel like I'm having a conversation with someone, even if that someone is just me.
I don't really have friends I can "chill with" (that's still used, right?) I'm not good at making friends, I'm not good at talking to people period. The only communication i have are with random people via a pen pal app. I actually made a friend from LA and we text every now an then. She wants to come to NY and be in the audience for a show called Saturday Night Live. I live here and have no desire to do that.
I know I'm missing out on stuff, but the way I see it you can't really miss something you never had. Can you?
Well until next time! .....David

............
Wow, I'm on my sixth post and I have no idea what to write. But I said to myself I would post something everyday.
*sigh*
I live in Brooklyn and honestly don't like to go out much. I like staying home, watching TV and eating. Yes I'm kinda boring, and lazy (I have no idea where I'm going with this) but I would like to change. One big change for me will be this blog. I will try to write everyday, and try to write something interesting for.....er......uh........myself I guess since I don't really know if anyone is reading this.
Well I guess this is it for now. What will you change this year?

Why I Blog.....
I feel useless. I feel like the only thing Im good at is watching TV, and let's face it its not really a skill one uses to make a living. I feel like the only thing I can be good at is writing. I wanna write a book someday, a really good one. I'm really not a social person, I feel awkward around people. So I find it hard getting a job that requires little to no human contact!
I know my writing skill isn't all that great and my spelling is awful!!! But spell check makes things easier. I will try to improve my writing by doing this blog. I will try to write something everyday. I really hope someone is reading this. .....David

2012
Wow, 2012! This is either gonna be a new beginning, or the beginning of the end! (I am aware that I just started this post with two sentences that end with an exclamation point, and I apologize for that. I just love using these babies!!!!! But I will try to control myself.)
Yes 2012 will be an interesting year. Growing up I remember how crazy 1999 was! (sorry) Y2K never have two letters and a number sounded so scary. If twitter was around back then, Y2K would have been trending. I was just a kid in elementary school so honestly I had no idea what it meant. All I knew was that it was feared. Some people said Y2K stood for "Year 2 Kill", and machines would rise against mankind. Others said that machines would just stop working and we would live in darkness. I'm guessing the story changed from place to place but the fear was still the same. The reason I'm bringing this up is because 2012 is finally here and well some people are freaking out.
I honestly don't think the world will end this year. I'm not scared like I was back in 1999. As a kid pretty much everything scares you. But for me 2011 had some really scary moments. I live in New York and last year I survived a hurricane, that kinda turned into a tropical storm by the time it hit New York so it wasn't so bad. I also survived an earthquake, which only lasted for about 20 seconds but those were the worst 20 seconds of my life! (I'm not apologizing for that one) I survived a bad break up between my parents that kinda got ugly. But they are back together now so naturally I'm scared shitless. Yes I had some scary moments last year, I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for me. How about you? Take care .....David! (sorry I had to do it)

I'm Back!
For the -2 people who read my first two posts, guess what? I'm back! I know it's been almost two years, and I apologize.
I bet your wondering what I've been doing, and the truth is I've been very busy. I finished community college back in 2010, it was one of the reasons I never blogger again. I know what your thinking, "community college isn't that tough!" But trust me there were times where I felt like dropping out. But I didn't, I kept going and got an associates degree in liberal arts back in August of 2010. Now your probably wondering what I've been doing since then, am I right? No? Well like I said before I've been busy! Funny thing actually one year ago today I subscribed to Netflix. So that's what I've been doing, I've been watching stuff on Netflix!
I'm unemployed and I'll be honest people kinda freak me out. So I'm pretty much home all the time. That's where Netflix comes in very handy. I can no longer stand live TV! Netflix is commercial free so I no longer have to watch a 45 minute show in one whole hour! In a way I save 15 minutes to watch something else.
Well I'm gonna take off now this post is pretty long. I promise it won't take me a year and 10 months to post again! Happy New Year!
